Site Launch: MP Biomedicals

Last month, we were very excited about our site launch for our client, MP Biomedicals.  Here at IronPlane, we pride ourselves in providing individualized services for each of our clients, helping them to create the best site for their business.  This worldwide corporation was looking for a site that could easily handle the needs of their clients, who are spread out over the globe.  MP Biomedicals has 18 store locations worldwide and wanted a site with GeoIP country selection and mapping for each location.

If you are at all involved in the world of medicine or science, you likely have heard of MP Biomedicals.  The corporation manufactures and distributes products for the life science, fine chemicals, and diagnostic markets.  MP Biomedicals is dedicated to providing scientists and researchers innovative, quality tools to aid them in their research.  They do some very important work, and we were thrilled to work with them to create a more user-friendly site.

To build the new site, we used Magento Commerce version 2.2.1.  We integrated their PRMS ERP system and did a great deal of custom coding, which included:

• CRM integration with lead creation for forms
• ERP Core integration
• Complex integration with price fetching based on location and user
• Specific redirects based on settings for country, and modifiable user interactions
• Payment methods – Mercanet and Payway integration
• Website redirects – country to website mapping
• Solr configuration for search
• Invoice PDF import
• Leads configuration
• Multifaceted integration with order management
